Ekhagen Kurs & Konferens is located in a scenic environment, just 20 kilometres outside Växjö. The facility is run by Grimslöv Folk High School, which started in 1876 and has many exciting courses.
We offer a stress-free and inviting conference environment with engaged staff where food and drink are an important and appreciated part.
Ekhagen Kurs & Konferens was renovated in 2018 and now has four modern conference rooms and 30 hotel rooms of a very high standard. We can receive both small groups and large gatherings of up to 150 people. The conference premises are equipped with modern and user-friendly technology such as computers, projectors and loopsets.

Our 19 single rooms, 9 double rooms and 2 multiple bedrooms have nice beds from the local bed manufacturer Hilding in Rydaholm and furniture by the designer Jonas Ihreborn in Värnamo. Thanks to our close proximity to Grimslöv Folk High School we can offer you access to, among other things, fully-equipped sports hall, football pitch, gym and beach volleyball pitch.
Ekhagen Kurs & Konferens is situated in the heart of Småland, near Åsnen National Park. This is a beautiful natural area with hiking trails and lakes with the possibility to bathe, fish, paddle and many other outdoor activities.
The small community of Grimslöv is 25 km from Växjö and 15 km from Alvesta. Not far from Ekhagen Kurs & Konferens there are several well-visited excursion destinations such as Huseby Bruk, Åsnen National Park, Culture Park Småland, Swedish Glass Museum, Cathedral in Växjö and Mobergsbyggden.
Further north there is Småland’s Furniture District with well-known designers at Källemo and Bruno Mathsson Center in Värnamo. In Älmhult there is the IKEA Museum and the beautiful Linnébygden. Sweden’s oldest and one of the world’s most famous glassworks Kosta Boda is also situated in Glasriket, Småland.
